Couple & Relationship Therapy
create security and connection in your relationship.
As a couples therapist I want to help you move toward more balance in your relationship. In our work together I can help you recognize and navigate the repetitive and harmful cycles partners often get stuck in. By supporting you to slow down and pay attention in a different way, you can become more aware of the dynamic you create together, and learn how to shift to something more loving and constructive. We can find out what sensitivities are underneath your responses and how to get closer to what you each want. I want to guide you to communicate in ways that the other can hear. I will support you to learn to both self-soothe as well as attend to one another. We can learn to become more open, curious and compassionate toward our partners and ourselves.
I work with people in relationship who want to change their communication patterns, get out of their habitual cycles, deepen their bond, continue their relationship after a betrayal, are discovering new identities in themselves and/or their partners, are exploring or practicing consensual non-monogamy, working through religious trauma connected to sexuality or gender, and more.
I am trained and informed by PACT (a psychobiological approach to couple therapy), The Couple Center’s Somatic Couples Therapy, attachment theory, and the polyvagal theory of the autonomic nervous system and trauma responses.
